Shape tools
Drag clean pixel geometry, then apply your current brush and drawing modifiers.
Line
Draw a straight pixel line.
- Choose Line or press L.
- Press at the first endpoint.
- Drag to preview the line, then release at the second endpoint.
Line uses the primary colour. A larger brush produces a thicker result when the preview is committed.
Rectangle
Draw an outlined or filled rectangle.
- Choose Rectangle or press R.
- Choose whether Filled is enabled in the context bar.
- Drag from one corner to the opposite corner and release.
With Filled off, Rectangle generates the perimeter. With it on, it generates the entire area. The rectangle always follows the canvas axes.
Ellipse
Draw an outlined or filled ellipse.
- Choose Ellipse or press O.
- Choose whether Filled is enabled.
- Drag a rectangular area around the intended ellipse and release.
Small ellipses are pixel approximations, so their outline follows pixel coverage rather than smooth vector geometry.
