Source Project
Up to 32 MB per file, 2048 × 2048 pixels, 256 frames, and 256 layers. Combined layer and frame pixels must fit within 64 MB.

Aseprite and .8bit keep supported raster layers, frame timing, palettes, and tag ranges. Piskel keeps layers and frames at one frame rate. Image outputs merge visible layers; PNG uses the first frame, while GIF and APNG include every frame.
This converter supports Piskel v2 and flat raster Aseprite Projects in RGBA, grayscale, or indexed color. Layer groups, tilemaps, custom color profiles, advanced blend modes, and expandable Projects are not supported. Keep your original file for source-only features.
